Safety First

Safety First

Though it is something we all interact with almost constantly, electricity can be harmful and even deadly. In 2018, USA Today ranked electrical power-line installers and repairers as the 15th most dangerous job in America. Central Rural Electric Cooperative makes safety the highest priority for both employees and the public. This is shown through Central's Safety First culture. The cooperative's Safety First campaign communicates safety awareness to employees and our membership.

School Safety Demonstrations

Central provides school safety demonstrations to schools in the cooperative's service area. These programs are geared towards elementary students. To request a school safety demonstration, call Central at 405-372-2884.
