District three trustee Carol Dvorak has announced her retirement in October following the end of her term.
Dvorak is currently the president of the board of trustees and has served on the board since 2012.
She received her Credentialed Cooperative Director, Director Gold Credential and Board Leadership Certificate from the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association.
Dvorak is currently a community liaison for Meridian Technology Center and is an active member of the Perry community. She holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Oklahoma State University.
“Carol has been a tremendous leader to the board of trustees,” said Central CEO, Hunter Robinson. “She has been a great advocate in supporting the cooperative, and we will miss her knowledge and insight.”
The District 3 trustee seat will be filled in accordance with the bylaws at a district meeting in August. Members should watch their mail for additional information.
Meetings will also be held for district two and four trustee seats if the incumbents are contested.
