Winter weather is on its way
Extreme cold weather is in the forecast beginning Friday, January 23. We're closely monitoring the forecast and making preparations for potential snow or ice. While it's still too early to know the exact impacts, we want to help you prepare and share how we're getting ready.
How winter weather can affect power
Snow and ice can add significant weight to power lines and tree limbs, sometimes causing outages, especially if conditions include freezing rain or high winds. If outages occur, restoration times may be longer due to road conditions and the need to work safely.
What we are doing
Our crews are preparing and will be ready if outages occur. We'll work as quickly as weather conditions allow to restore power.
