Central Rural Electric Cooperative district five members elected Mark Pitman to serve as trustee for the 2022-2025 term.
Pittman has served the Central board since 2012, including three years as the president. Since 2018, Pittman has served as Central’s representation on the KAMO Power board. He graduated Oklahoma State University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics. He worked throughout Oklahoma and the U.S. in the industrial supply industry and is the Founder and CEO of MPSquared, LLC. Pittman and wife Carla live in the Stillwater area.
The drive-thru district five election was held September 8 at Central’s headquarters in Stillwater. Jimmy Aldridge and Raj Murthy also filed for the trustee position. Quorum was met for the meeting with more than five percent of the district’s members participating in the election.
Central is a rural electric distribution cooperative that serves more than 20,000 meters in seven central Oklahoma counties. The cooperative is governed by a seven-member board of trustees. Visit mycentral.coop for more information.
