Central Electric Cooperative trustees Gary McCune, District 1, and Bill Davis, District 7, retained their board seats and will serve additional three-year terms on the board of trustees.
The two trustees ran uncontested during recent candidate filing periods, negating the need to hold elections. According to Central bylaws, the trustee holding office from that district shall automatically remain in office for an additional three-year term provided he or she otherwise qualifies.
McCune has served on the board since 2008. He holds his Credentialed Cooperative Director, Board Leadership Certificate and Director Gold Credential certifications through the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association. His district covers parts of Noble, Payne and Pawnee counties.
