Central apprentice linemen graduated from the Northwest Lineman College and were honored at the Oklahoma Association of Electric Cooperatives Apprentice Lineman Graduation and awards ceremony in December.
“I’m really proud of these guys and the hard work they put into this achievement,” said Dewayne Drury, Central’s Director of Operations.
A lineman apprenticeship takes 8,000 hours, roughly four years, of hands-on work and training classes.
The newly initiated linemen have combined experience of 23 years at Central. Karner has worked for Central for four years; Cundiff for six years; McPhail for eight years and Mason for five years.
