Central Electric Cooperative recently redistricted in accordance to the bylaws following the resignation of Clyde Habben, District 8 trustee, in 2019. The cooperative now has seven board districts, and the membership has been allocated evenly among the new districts.
“While each trustee lives within their district boundaries, the trustees really serve as an initial point of contact for members in that area,” said Hunter Robinson, Central CEO. “Trustees are elected by their district. Beyond that the board really works on behalf of the entire membership, not only for the members in their district.”
